Note: This action assumes you have access to the mailbox you intend to make the change to.
- In any web browser go to https://outlook.office.com/owa, log in
- Click your circular personal icon at the top right-hand side of the window and click on Open another mailbox…
- Enter in the email address for the other mailbox you want to open (if you are unable to open the mailbox then you likely do not have permission to access it). Then click Open.
- Click on the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the mailbox. Then at the bottom click on View all Outlook Settings.
- In the Settings screen select Mail then click on Automatic replies to update the reply.
- Turn Automatic Replies on. Add checkmark to Send replies during a time period and specify Start time and End time. (Optional): add checkmark to blocking and decline options. Next type in message in the Send Automatic replies inside your organization text box. (Optional): Add checkmark to "Send replies outside your organization" box and /or to the "Send replies only to contacts" box; and type in message in the text box. Finally, click on Save.
