Someone sent a corrupt job to 4E that caused the error message (116-324).
Here are the steps to take when this happens:
1. Power off the printer using the switch on the side.
2. Disconnect the ethernet cable.
3. Power on the machine without the cables.
4. Ask Help Desk to delete all the jobs in the print queue.
5. Reconnect the ethernet cable.
6. You should be able to print.
A Xerox associate told me this is an old model printer and it often doesn’t recognize current fonts in usage. The associate suggests we use “the print as image option” if it’s something we’re printing from Adobe. Or ask IT to load the font management utility on www.xerox.com.
Here’s the serial no. (XL137808) for 4E.
The Xerox number for support is: 1-800-835-6100
